Robert “Brad” Johnson (Coach AKA) fell in love with CrossFit after watching a competition on TV. As a construction worker at the time, he was amazed by the strength and endurance he gained from CrossFit.
Working as a finish carpenter, Coach AKA has an eye for fine details. This, paired with over a decade of experience, allows him to see flaws in both technique and form in many CrossFit athletes. Therefore, he takes great pride in helping athletes of all ages and levels to perform at their best. So, whether you’re 8 or 68, Coach AKA is eager to help you achieve your fitness goals and lead a fulfilling life.
A wife and mother of two, Allie loves the outdoors, laughter, and fitness as a lifestyle. Allie graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Exercise Science, and has her CF-L1 certificate. As a former gymnast, she loves the gymnastics element of CrossFit and coaching these movements is her passion; you might still catch her doing a backflip or ariel in the gym! Allie credits CrossFit with helping her cardio immensely without having to go on long runs or do the ellipitcal for hours. Her favorite thing about CrossFit is the community that it creates where we can encourage one another in our health and lives in general.
Kelsey began CrossFit in 2018 after realizing she needed something more than "just a gym." She finished up her first half-marathon and jumped right into CrossFit class and was instantly hooked by the friendly competition and welcoming community.
Kelsey graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BSBA and MBA and works professionally in the digital marketing space.
She obtained her CF-L1 after eagerly wanting to learn more about functional movement. With 14 years of gymnastics experience, she quickly realized the gymnastics portion of CrossFit was easily her favorite (and has learned lifting can be fun too)! Her favorite thing about CrossFit and coaching others is the moment when an athlete thinks they can't accomplish something and then *lightbulb, realizing they can!
We strive to create a supportive community where our clients can thrive physically and mentally. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for empowering our clients, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality training experience.
